Our Teams
AO’s Warehouse and Distribution team are our powerhouse behind our first class customer journey. They work their magic behind the scenes, making sure every appliance is perfectly prepped, packed, and ready to roll—right to our customers’ doorsteps. They have a keen eye for detail, making sure appliances are triple checked over before going out, to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. And it’s no easy feat – it takes a lot of hands to make the magic happen! From loaders and labellers to depot managers and shift leaders, the team works together like clockwork.
We have a massive 17 outbases across the UK, so whether you’re in Dundee or Basildon, we’re never far away! The team’s made up of Warehouse Operatives and Supervisors, Stock Controllers, FLT drivers and so many more! And no matter where you start, there’s so many ways you can climb the rank, with loads of different progression paths.
Not only do we deliver 100s of 1000s of appliances a year, but our expert Installations team also install a huge amount of them too! They’re the final touchpoint in delivering the full AO experience, so their people skills are just as important as their technical ones! From installing gas and electric to dual fuel, our customers safety always comes first. We’re a gas safe registered company so we can give our customers peace of mind that everything is set up correctly and all safety standards are met.
Our engineers work a flexible ‘4 on, 4 off’ shift pattern, creating the ideal work-life balance. You can even keep your own gas card too, giving you the freedom to earn extra income.
Plus, we kit our engineers out with their own toolkits, worth over £3000, giving them everything they need to get the job done right. With 24/7 support, endless growth opportunities, and ongoing training to sharpen their skills, our engineers are set up for success… and so much more!
Our logistics office is a hive of activity and collaboration, buzzing with energy as teams come together to make an impact that matters every single day. Our commercial team and dedicated routers are constantly on the move, working in sync to make sure everything runs like clockwork and that our service is always top-notch.
