This is Ruth – one of the cracking Client Executives at AO Business.
She joined us in April 2020 after several years in customer service and the care industry. And it’s safe to say that here at AO, no two days are the same.
One minute, she’ll be touching base with clients and keeping accounts ticking over. The next, she’ll be dishing out quotations and bossing stock queries.
Some of Ruth’s clients support vulnerable people and for these customers, the focus is not on price and profit, but doing the right thing.
“One of the best parts of my job is the people I work with,” says Ruth. “We have a very strong team who all work together. We have different strengths and personalities, and we look after one another like family.
“The other part is the relationship I have with my clients, some of whom I speak with several times a day and knowing that my clients trust me to do the right thing is really rewarding.”
But what’s been the best bit for Ruth so far?
“I’ve had so many highlights during my time with AO Business,” she goes on.
“But being part of the initial team of outbound client execs with only a couple of us, to see the team grow to the department we are today, makes me very proud.”
