Back to articles

Every year our L&D team host the annual AO Achievement Awards, at Rivington Barn. It is a celebration of the accomplishments of AO’ers who have completed qualifications and training programmes over the last 12 months.

This year we celebrated the AO’ers who completed our Star programme, Duke of Edinburgh, apprentices and professional qualifications..

Award winners included apprentice, Ryan Kennedy who was won the ‘Team Player Award’ by his fellow DofE’ers and Software Developer Dan Lumb who was voted ‘Star of Stars’ by his fellow Star programme team.

Our Star programme team’s work to raise money for local charities including The Brick and The Children’s Animal Farm Trust. On the night, each team’s presented each charity a whopping £8000! What an amazing achievement!

Ailsa Charnock completed her CIPD Level 7 in Human Resource Management, as well as Andy Hunt and Hannah Brennan completing their levels 5 and 3.

Jonathan McCann was awarded his membership to CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accounting) which is an amazing accomplishment.

They have worked extremely hard to get these qualifications while also being full time AO’ers! Well Done!

AO Founder, John Roberts attended the awards where he delivered a brilliant and inspiring closing speech expressing his complete pride for everyone involved in the night.

We’re really proud of all our AO’ers for working so hard and being relentless in striving to improve and succeed more and more.
