About The Role

To us, an ideal Weekend Sales Manager is someone who is the epitome of our AO values; going the extra mile to work at AO speed and make decisions your mum would be proud of. If this is you be you, you could be our next Inbound Sales Manager! We want someone who's passionate about supporting their team, colleagues and the department and is able to drive performance, consistently achieving and exceeding against all KPIs.

We want our sales team to be resilient and always have a positive can-do attitude, so we want you lead by example and encourage these behaviours in your team. You'll encourage and guide your team to deliver excellence, to give a memorable experience and constantly motivate them to hit sales targets and improve on previous weeks performance, always going above and beyond.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Some things you can expect to be doing in your role are:

  • Building relationships with the team, Senior Management and key stakeholders
  • Adopting a consultative approach to the sales process
  • Sharing best practice with colleagues to drive the best skills and performance
  • Running regular team-building sessions to inspire and motivate
  • Support your team in meeting and exceeding targets and targeted SLAs and KPIs
  • Monitoring the performance and conduct of all advisors, leading through excellence
  • Constantly working to improve efficiency, quality and conversions
  • Have an active input in the future of the department
  • Coaching, leading and conducting 1-2-1’s to drive growth and increased development and performance in your team members
  • Having an active interest in sales and bringing new ideas and new ways of working to the department

A Few Things About You

  • Must have experience of working within and managing a target driven, sales team
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of how to improve performance
  • Be able to show leadership skills and development skills effectively
  • Has a clear understanding of sales techniques/skills
  • Can demonstrate proven track record of exceeding targets
