AO Jobs

Welcome to AO

It’s really happening – you’re becoming an AOer!

We’re chuffed to bits to be welcoming you to the AO team. To make your first day as worry free as possible, here’s the answers to some of the questions you may have about starting your new role. If you think we’ve missed something, please contact and we’ll be happy to help.

Your virtual induction

To make you feel right at home, here’s a behind-the-scenes tour of what it’s like to work at AO.

New starter checklist

To eliminate the guesswork and make sure you’re feeling fully prepared, here’s a checklist of things to do before your first day.

  • Read, acknowledge and return your Contract of Employment

  • Provide photo ID confirming your eligibility to work

  • Complete and return your AO Welcome pack

  • If you’re computer based, look out for your kit collection time slot email and log in details

  • We’ll also be in touch with your day one agenda

Some useful documents to take a look at

Find out about where you’ll be working

We know there’s loads you’ll want to know. Where should you park? What’s the nearest train station? What’s the dress code? Should you bring your own lunch? Find out all this and more by clicking on your location.

Working remotely?

If you’re joining the team remotely, you’ll still be getting the full AO induction experience and your line manager will work closely with you to make sure you’ve got all the support you need to get up and running with your role.

We’ll be in touch to confirm how and when you’ll receive your kit such as laptop and all the details and support you might need for your first day (and beyond).

I want to refer someone else for a role at AO, how do I do this?

It takes an AOer to know one, so we’d love to consider your referral. When your referral applies for a role on, make sure they reference your name on the application to let us know they’ve got your stamp of approval.

There’s loads more to know

You’ll find out all about AO, get to know your team and start to understand more about your role as part of your induction. In the meantime, if you want to know a bit more about what to expect, here are a few links to some useful resources.
