Back to articles

Gas Safety Week 2022

Gas Safety Week 2022 is almost here (Sept 12-18) – and it’s a great chance for Gas Engineers to help homeowners stay safe.

Now in its 12th year, this annual event sees everyone from across the industry come together with one common goal: To keep the UK gas safe.

Gas Engineers are best placed to spread the message of boosting the nation’s gas safety.

Thousands of supporters have signed up to the national safety campaign – and here are just three reasons why you should join them…

Protect your customers and save lives:

Carbon monoxide poisoning affects more than 1,000 people a year and can be fatal.

Free promotion:

You’ll be given a free toolkit full of materials to help you support the week, including social media updates, images, articles, web banners and much more.

Boost your brand awareness:

Go online and post about what you’re doing to support the campaign on social media. The team behind Gas Safety Week will spotlight supporters’ activities in its roundup report and registered engineer magazine.

We’re looking for Gas Engineers throughout the UK to join AO.

You’ll be able to work a ‘four-on, four-off’ pattern.
And you can keep your gas card, so you can carry on working for yourself.
