About The Role

AO Recycling, part of the AO Group, have a state of the art white goods and packaging recycling plant in Telford, Shropshire.

AO is known as the destination for electricals, but we’re also one of the UK’s biggest recyclers of fridges and other Large Domestic Appliances (LDAs). We turn old fridges, washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers into valuable resources.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Work pattern includes working Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM or 6AM-2PM
• Repair and refurbish washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, dishwashers and fridges
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on all appliances
• Safely operate Hydraulic lift tables
• Perform some manual handling tasks

A Few Things About You

• The flexibility to cross-train in a similar role;
• The ability to work in a team environment;
• The confidence to help generate ideas for improvement and the desire to take pride in your work;
• Specific manufacturer training of any kind would be an advantage.
