About The Role

The Wellbeing Lead will be responsible for the design, leadership and delivery of a forward-thinking health and wellbeing strategy ensuring employee wellbeing supports our company mission. In line with the people strategy you will create a clear 3 year strategy and detailed annual plan for the group which focuses on the core pillars of wellbeing; social, financial, mental and physical.

As a thought leader you will bring external insights and experience to influence and educate the business and its leaders on business impact of workplace wellbeing and drive change across the organisation.

You will ensure employee wellbeing priorities are integrated throughout the organisation and embedded in the culture, leadership and people management practices.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Provide direction, guidance and delivering strategic interventions to realise the benefits of a health and wellbeing approach.

Provide the technical direction to create a clear change focus in the health and wellbeing agenda, including training leaders and employees in best practice.

Ensure that senior leaders regard wellbeing as a priority and integrate practices into their day-to-day operations and culture.

Develop effective mechanisms to identify key areas of focus also providing effective horizon scanning to ensure we are aware of, and consider appropriately, any emerging national and global trends.

Work with the Employee Insights Lead to provide effective insight on data trends relating to the health and wellbeing of our employees, with appropriate reflection of these into the strategy and plan.

Leverage our current offerings, building upon these and delivering commercial, innovative and practical solutions that are aligned to business objectives.

Identifying opportunities to join up our current occupational health, flexible benefits, and employee assistance to maximise the impact of their services for our people

Develop strategic, collaborative and enduring partnerships with relevant external parties to support the wellbeing strategy.

Identify key metrics to measure the impact and success.

  • Ability to build key relationships amongst stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
  • Strong influencing skills and a passion for taking others on a journey with you.
  • Able to develop both a long-term strategy and adopt a pragmatic approach to identify and capitalise on shorter term opportunities.
  • Strong motivational skills and resilience to want to achieve and overcome obstacles.
  • Ability to make and communicate key decisions in a timely way and explain the reasoning behind them to ensure the support and engagement of those involved.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and a varying and at times challenging workload.
