More about the role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Insight, this is predominantly an analytical role and you will be responsible for utilising complex data to drive insight and decision making for departments across the business.

Your position will focus mainly on analysing, interpreting and delivering in-depth actionable insights into customer behaviour on our website in support of continually optimizing performance. This role will be an integral part of the efforts of understanding and improving the onsite customer journey.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing

  • Be the expert for data analytics needs, working closely and collaborating with the marketing, platform, content, and UX teams to provide actionable insights and drive change.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on online user behaviour to identify opportunities to improve the onsite customer experience
  • You will own how data is pushed to web analytics and marketing technology tools
  • You will be the expert in data tagging for the team, defining the best practice and ensuring data is provided consistently and accurately to tagging solutions
  • Reporting on key business KPI’s, analysing and understanding why metrics have changed
  • Responding to all ad hoc analysis requests from varying teams and delivering key insights and recommendations and being the ‘go to’ person for website performance queries.

Qualifications, skills or experience and characteristics needed to do the role.

  • You have a real passion for data, deriving insights and shaping decisions
  • Web Analytics experience using WebTrends or another platform (Adobe, Google, etc)
  • Expertise in harnessing complex data and being able to efficiently communicate this as actionable insight for the business.
  • Extensive understanding of measurement techniques such as funnel conversion, path analysis.
  • Team leadership experience
