About The Role

Our eCommerce team are a highly talented bunch, who are fundamental in understanding the performance of our website and ensuring our customers get the best possible experience.

As a eCommerce Analyst you’ll have a passion for analytics and improving our customers experience on our website.

Day-to-day you’ll have a varied to do list and understanding of the full web journey from onsite customer behaviour, event tagging implementation to analysing onsite a/b testing.

You will work as a part of the wider eCommerce team sharing data & insights, and collaborating on recommendations to improve our customer journey aligned with key business objectives.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Utilise GA360/GA4 data to provide insight on the performance of the websites to key stakeholders.
  • Implement event tagging onsite using GTM to enable behaviour & data analysis
  • Maintain and automate dashboards and reporting to meet the requirements of the business utilising Google Big Query and Power BI.
  • Identify and define reporting opportunities to allow key stakeholders clear visibility of the customer journey and key sales indicators.
  • Define and then report on the key metrics for each part of the web journey, with a view to aligning these with the overall business objectives.
  • Own your area by relentlessly monitoring performance daily, and more importantly understanding the why for variations so that you can provide sound commercial recommendations supported by sound analytical evidence.
  • Perform analysis on a/b tests, drawing conclusions, recommendations, and financial valuation in line with the timescales agreed.
  • Gathering and manipulating data to analyse customer behaviour metrics

A Few Things About You

  • Experience working with online analytics tools (such as GA360 or GA4)
  • Experience using BigQuery, SQL or PowerBi
  • Experience using GTM or equivalent
  • An interest in onsite testing and improving the customer experience
  • Experience in conducting and analysing A/B tests
  • Have a genuine interest in analytics and want to understand why things have changed
