About The Role
Based at our Head Office, you’ll own the design and customer experience for our My Account and post-purchase journey. Working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional squad you’ll set the example of what product design is at AO.
As a UX Team Lead, you’ll dedicate a portion of your time to managing 3 UX Designers and take responsibility for developing the UX community of practice.
We have a large UX team of 14 designers, you’ll play a key role in delivering on the teams objectives with a DesignOps framework. You’ll also collaborate with the wider design team to maintain design consistency across AO.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You’ll be a voice of UX at AO and drive the UX team’s objectives, you’ll lead and coach your direct reports to help them reach their potential.
Solving customer problems through an insights lead lean UX process, you’ll facilitate and drive collaboration across UX, Developments, Research and the wider business.
You’ll work with analytics, optimisation and research to validate your hypothesis and clearly articulate your design rationale to stakeholders and squads across the business.
A Few Things About You
A natural leader, you’re able to coach and inspire those around you. You’re used to facilitating workshops and running design sprints whilst collaborating with the wider business.
You’re able to drive and execute UX and UI design and have a portfolio of work that shows your design thinking and process.
