More About the Role

Our award-winning IT department is looking for a Test Engineer to join us who will work within our Agile product page team. You will be responsible for leading quality and mature software practices within the team from a testing and continuous delivery perspective.

You’ll need to be present from a piece of works inception to delivery and be completely committed to delivering high quality work quickly in this fast-paced team. Work ranges from Business as usual maintenance on the product page to innovative new features delivered in an agile manner.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

  • Testing our product page making sure any new features are of a high standard from a UX, Aesthetic, Functional, Security and Accessibility perspective.
  • Making sure that the application is functional, performant and delightful to use.
  • Contribute towards continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
  • You’ll be part of creating user journeys.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on user journeys.
  • Perform multi-device and browser testing across multi-lingual sites.
  • Working with UX, Creative designers, Business analysts, Project managers, other testers as well as copywriters and other stakeholders to make sure we are delivering what’s expected on time.
  • Together with the team; implementing ways to measure the success of the work you are producing through automatic reporting.
  • Working with development to debug issues.
  • Collaborating with development on unit and integration tests
  • Work in an Agile cross functional team in an Agile fashion in all facets whether it be our approach to delivering work or your approach to testing.

A Few Things About You

  • Must have a passion for great aesthetics and user experience.
  • Must have a strong eye for detail.
  • Must be proactive and goal orientated.
  • Must be self-motivated and keen to take ownership and responsibility for your work and yourself.
  • 4+ years testing experience.
  • 2+ years test automation experience.
  • Experience testing and automating against the API layer
  • Experience working on a customer facing eCommerce platform.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JS.
  • Experience working with Automation tools.
  • Experience working with TDD/BDD.
  • Must be a clear and succinct communicator.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a must.
  • Experience working on a customer facing eCommerce platform.
  • You must have a desire to learn and continuously improve yourself.
