Job Overview

About The Role

Technology and People - the two go hand in hand. If they didn’t, we’d all be run by robots.

To make sure our tech teams know what the rest of the business needs, we need someone to come on board as our Technology Business Partner and act as the bridge between the two worlds. Not only will you be capturing and delivering requirements, but you’ll also be proactive in spotting any risks or ways that we can improve our efficiencies across the departments.

You’ll be working directly under Haseeb, our Head of Enterprise Services - when it comes to architecture, applications, and ERP - you can be sure you’ll be supported by a fountain of knowledge. Stakeholders and leaders from across the business will come to you as the first point of call for all things enterprise solutions. It’ll be up to you to listen to their needs, help delivery group-wide change projects, and show AOers how they can get the most out of their existing tech.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Work with stakeholders to review our current enterprise solutions and spot ways we can be more efficient with our tech
  • Look after our backlog and help to resolve outstanding issues, prioritising work for our delivery teams
  • Use your knowledge and commercial understanding of the organisation, our colleagues, and our customers to contribute to our business-wide tech strategy
  • Drive initiatives that come out of the tech strategy and align with the business needs
  • Collaborate with wider parts of the tech team to make sure everyone is on the same page with priorities, deadlines, and delivery

A Few Things About You

  • Previous experience developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios
  • Experience across a breadth of IT/technology, and partnering with the business
  • Exposure to a broad range of technical environments and business areas
  • The ability to plan, run and manage meetings with colleagues up to senior levels
  • A continuous improvement mindset - you’re able to identify and implement service improvements

Our benefits are designed to cover the moments that matter to AOers. From health and wellness to giving back - you’ll be rewarded inside and outside of work.
