About The Role
Bringing great talent into AO Tech is why you’ll get out of bed every day, how you do that is largely down to you.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders across AO Tech to identify gaps in their teams and fill them with great people.
You’ll decide the best recruitment approach for your vacancies, whether that’s creating compelling and engaging content, sourcing the deepest corners of the web or something else completely.
This role comes with bags of autonomy, but with autonomy comes responsibility and ownership. You’ll own the relationship with your hiring managers, you’ll own the process and make sure you pull out all the stops help the business hire great people into their teams whilst delivering great candidate and hiring manager experience.
A Few Things About You
You probably never planned on being in recruitment, you didn’t even really know what it was until you were in it and like most of us, you just ‘fell into it’.
You very quickly realised that you were pretty good at it and on most days, you even enjoy it. You get a kick out of coming up with creative solutions to solve hiring challenges and then landing them.
Whether that’s crafting a new approach for attracting in-demand niche talent into the business or it could be you’ve come up with a different process to make the hiring experience better for your candidates, your hiring managers and you.
You’ve got plenty of experience in an internal talent acquisition team and the scars of your back to prove it.
You’re not happy with the "this is the way we’ve always done it" approach, nor are you happy to be an order taker.
You’re constantly looking for better ways of working and working with your hiring managers rather than for them, coaching them along the way to make sure you attract the right talent, at the right time and in the best possible way.
Writing job adverts or posting across social media isn’t "admin" to you. You understand the value of well written job advert and just how powerful the right content can be on social media.
You’re also not afraid to get your hands dirty and headhunt great talent directly.
You’re big on using data and insights to provide expertise to your hiring community, or using it to plan your attraction campaign or to tell a story.
