About The Role

AO is continuing its sponsorship investments to increase brand awareness and attract new customers, as well as to strengthen relationships with existing ones. You'll play a critical role in achieving these goals, reporting to Lee, our Sponsorship Manager and overseeing the day-to-day management of both current and new sponsorships across the group.

We've secured several exciting sponsorships, including AO Arena, Sale Sharks, and Manchester Thunder, of which you'll be the main point of contact for all these partnerships! You'll be responsible for ensuring that each sponsorship is activated to its fullest potential, while also ensuring that contractual rights are fully utilised and made available to both external customers and AOers.

We know we work better when we’re together, so all our AOers come into the office Monday to Friday. We collaborate more easily, have continual conversations, we’re more creative, give better support, and all this makes us more motivated and even better at what we do.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our brand sponsorships to ensure the day to day delivery.
  • Assisting the Sponsorship Manager in identifying and pursuing long term sponsorship opportunities
  • Allocation and administration of contractual rights associated with our sponsorships
  • Managing the administration and distribution of tickets and hospitality to both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to provide guidance on how to maximize the impact of sponsorships in broader campaigns such as social media, CRM, and internal events.
  • Supporting the Head of Brand Delivery in implementing effective processes and procedures to support the sponsorships
  • Planning and executing activations at our key sponsorships from concept to completion.
  • Managing support staff to ensure successful execution of activations.
  • Managing communications internally to AOers regarding events, tickets, etc
  • Become a brand ambassador, ensure you live the brand daily, including being able to challenge when it hasn’t been used correctly
  • Developing and adhering to budgets, tracking expenses, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies.
  • Maintaining composure and professionalism while working under pressure on the day of activation, representing AO as the face of the brand.

A Few Things About You

  • Experience in a sponsorship-related role.
  • The ability to travel throughout the UK
  • Experience working with influencers and celebrities to represent the brand at a high standard is desirable
  • The willingness to work evenings and weekends, which will be compensated through time off in lieu.
  • Proven experience of managing activations and events.
