Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
This is an exciting opportunity to support the maintenance team as a shift maintenance support operative. The main area of responsibility will revolve around physically demanding tasks like unloading, bailer operation, hygiene, processing appliances into recycling etc. You will be expected to complete your role as an Operative to the required standard in the first instance and will only step into the Shift Support Operative’s role as and when required.
Assist with the day-to-day delivery of maintenance tasks, specifically preventative / predictive / corrective / reactive maintenance to achieve site optimization. Ensure that all housekeeping issues are assessed and dealt with. * Always adopt a hands-on approach to enable maximum efficiency during shift.
- Provide effective and efficient support to the Shift Team Leader and Maintenance Engineer.
To ensure that the Maintenance Team is provided with Support to a defined level, that is delivered with competence in a safe and cost-effective manner.

- Assist with breakdowns and provide corrective actions to meet operational processing objectives
Adhere to all risk assessment process and adhere to Engineering Safe Systems of Work, maintaining a safe working environment and utilising correct tools and PPE for the job.
