Due to our significant and continued growth we have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Transport and Administrative Co-Ordinator to assist with the smooth running of the company's deliveries and collections in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
This role will encompass the management of our small collection fleet and of course aiding our transport and administration manager and team. If you are looking for a fast paced, and exiting role that is both challenging and rewarding, then this could be the opportunity for you.
More About the Role
You will be responsible for the planning of driver’s collection routes and liaising with drivers, clients and agencies.
You will need a strong understanding of the transport and Administration industry and be able to build on existing relationships.
Help to develop KPI’s to measure the team, whilst looking at new processes to improve efficiency and cost.
You will work closely with the Transport and Administration Manager and be involved in developments within the transport operation and therefore be closely involved with the wider operational team.
Ensure that all policies, procedures and protocols are followed by all employees working within the operation.
Aid with the management of the transport and Administration department, providing full support in the absence of the Transport Manager.
You will need to be a strong people person with the ability to motivate up-skill and support the development of the team, as well as assisting with any HR related issues i.e. absence, holiday planning, RTW and reviews.
A Few Things About You
Experience working in a similar role and operation, i.e. LogisticsTransport within a fast pace environment.
Working Towards a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Hold a valid full UK drivers licence
Previous experience of managing drivers.
You must be resilient, self-motivated, and a self-starter who is looking to develop and succeed within a growing team and company.
Willing to travel (UK Only)
Keen to learn and attend training courses
