About The Role

There’s no doubt that our eCommerce team work at ‘AO Speed’ they’re a talented bunch who are fundamental in understanding the performance of our website and ensuring our customers get the best possible experience.

So where do you come in? As our Senior Search and Navigation Executive you’ll play a key part within AO in optimising our online shopping experience, ensuring we have efficient and effective search and navigation capabilities. You’ll work to enhance customer satisfaction, improve conversion rates and drive overall online sales growth.

We know we work better when we’re together, so all our AOers come into the office Monday - Friday. We collaborate more easily, have continual conversations, we’re more creative and give better support and all this makes us more motivated and even better at what we do.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Lead the strategy, implementation and continuous improvement of the onsite search and navigation features to provide an intuitive and seamless shopping experience.

• Collaborate with different AOers from UX designers, developers and eCommerce managers, marketing and trade teams.

• Work alongside eCommerce analysts to monitor and analyse user behaviour, search trends and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

• Use insights to develop and execute A/B tests, usability studies and other experiments to optimise search results, filters, and category structures.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices relating to eCommerce search and navigation and drive innovation within our platform.

A Few Things About You

• Experience working with onsite search & navigation capabilities such as Fredhopper, Attraqt.

• Interest in onsite testing and improving the customer experience.

• Technical knowledge of search algorithms, data structures & other relevant areas of search capabilities.

• Ability to analyse user behaviour, trends, and feedback to identify optimisation opportunities.

• Experience managing third party relationships
