About The Role

Are you a proactive and driven individual seeking an exciting opportunity? We invite you to be a part of our logistics commercial team as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst. In this role, your proactive approach will be the driving force behind transformative change.

You'll add value to the business, taking ownership of commercial analysis, and driving forward performance of our warehouse operations through insightful investigation, analysis, and the implementation of relevant actions.

Our Vision and Impact:

Our team is at the forefront of a pivotal 12-month transformation journey aimed at revolutionising warehouse labour performance and efficiency. As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this vision, making a direct impact on cost efficiency and overall performance.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Deliver informative reports to stakeholders, empowering them to make timely decisions that influence weekly cost and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of a segment of the P&L, bridging performance vs forecast weekly.
  • Enhance your understanding of variance analysis, cost drivers and volume adjusted performance bridges.
  • Ownership and responsibility of the Warehouse Labour budget and forecasts.
  • Gain a deep understanding of warehouse operations to facilitate effective labour planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial Planning and operational management to create and refine an effective warehouse labour target model.
  • Improve data reconciliation processes between payroll information and daily labour reporting, ensuring the daily performance information is accurate to actual spend.
  • Drive process improvements across all fronts and contribute to the department's journey towards advanced analytics and best practice solutions.

A Few Things About You

  • Are passionate about numbers and dedicated to improving performance.
  • Possess the ability to analyse large datasets and have an inquisitive mindset to understand why performance metrics change.
  • Proficient in excel.
  • Can work autonomously but are not afraid to seek assistance when needed.
  • Previous Finance / CIMA / ACCA experience.
  • VBA experience would be useful for pre-existing processes, but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit confidence in dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders, from the Managing Director to operational managers.

If you're excited about making a meaningful impact, driving change, and contributing to a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply for this Senior Commercial Finance Analyst position.
