Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• You’ll bring your expertise in annual budgeting and reforecasting to drive data-backed improvements within the business.

• You will enjoy seeking out opportunities to improve all lines within a P&L, from revenue down to EBITDA.
• Developing and presenting strong business cases across the AO Group. This could include everything from proposing changes to maximise existing opportunities, to scoping out entirely new areas for growth.
• Championing and instilling a commercial culture across AO Business. You will be encouraging and enabling members of other departments to apply a commercial mindset when making business decisions.
• Presenting to a senior audience using compelling visuals and impactful messaging, articulating the ‘why’ behind the numbers help drive strategic discussions and champion an ‘accuracy matters’ approach to data-led decisions.

A Few Things About You

  • Experience of interpreting and explaining business performance via a full P&L (both revenue and cost lines)
  • Experience in annual budgeting and re-forecasting
  • Strong people person, great at building relationships, presenting to a senior audience up-to and including MD and Exec level; and working as part of a high-profile team
  • Proficient to an advanced level in Excel (sumifs, pivot-tables etc)
  • Awareness and interest of macro-economic impacts on business performance
