About The Role
Here at AO we are looking for a Revenue Assistant to focus on one of our new and larger B2B industries. The Revenue Assistant will involve creating invoices via EDI upload, reconciling to contract pricing, PO, ensuring accuracy of invoices, posting adjustments to our ledgers and solving any queries on invoicing as well as allocation and reconciling cash receipts
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You’ll be someone that is comfortable working alone as well as working as a team supporting the credit control and administration function of the wider Sales Ledger department. This role will involve attention to query management, the allocation of cash receipts as well as maintaining accurate account information. In total the sales ledger team is 14 people strong, and we live by the "work hard, play hard" ethos.
You’ll be responsible for the management of large EDI transfers, manipulating data from one form to another to enable accurate and efficient invoicing and raising and issuing sales invoices on a timely basis.
You’ll also need to complete product price reconciliations, liaise with internal and external bodies to resolve queries and assist in issuing monthly statements to business customers.
You’ll be vital in assisting in the resolution of client debt balances, account and statement reconciliations and monitoring payments received and balances due.
A Few Things About You
For this role you must have a high level of attention to detail, with strong excel skills and ability to reconcile a large number of accounts and EDI files.
You must also be a quick thinker, organised and confident to question what they see and have the ability to deal with large data sets.
You’ll need experience with Excel and strong MS Office skills and having experience with a financial system such as Microsoft Dynamics (AX).
