About The Role
At AO, we’re on an exciting journey to become the ‘Global Destination for Electricals'. To achieve that ambition, we need to pull in the brightest and best talent around - and to do that, we need a new Employer Brand Manager who can get people hyped about becoming part of AO.
This role is all about boosting AO’s image as a good company to work for and getting our fresh-out-the-oven People Proposition into the world in a clear and frank fashion.
You’ll be the custodian of the AO Jobs brand, taking ownership of AO’s image and reputation in the labour market. But it won’t all be on you; you’ll educate and inspire our internal recruiters to sell AO’s story and encourage our AOers to tell their stories externally.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
As our new Employer Brand Manager, you’ll create and curate engaging online content that promotes AO as an attractive place to work. You’ll be comfortable briefing and dealing with creative agencies and other third parties, as well as advising and supporting AO’s internal recruitment team.
Another ongoing task will be keeping an eye on AO’s employer reputation on Glassdoor and Indeed, in addition to directing and outlining objectives for AO Jobs’ social channels. You’ll also oversee AO’s Careers website and paid advertising on external job boards.
A Few Things About You
You’d stand a strong chance of becoming our new Employer Brand Manager if you can demonstrate your:
- Passion for creative storytelling
- Experience in project management, data analysis, and performance reporting
- Resilience and enthusiasm for delivering results under pressure
- Ability to translate complex issues into clear, easy-to-understand language
- Knack for getting the most out of what you have
- Customer-first mindset
