More About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger clerk working within the UK Retail entity of the business. In this role you’ll be reporting into our Purchase Ledger Supervisor. This is a busy and demanding role, and requires somebody with a meticulous attention to detail. The UK Retail Finance team are a close- knit bunch, with a work hard, play hard attitude. This is a varied and often demanding role so we need someone who is up for the challenge!
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
- Ownership of a set of supplier accounts
- Input of stock invoices / credits onto Microsoft Dynamics AX both manually and via EDI
- Excel Reconciliations of receipting processes
- Weekly statement reconciliations across your supplier base
- Preparing payments to go to suppliers
- Meeting monthly objectives
- Assist where necessary within team

- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deal with high volumes of invoices/data
- Adaptable to business requirements daily/weekly/monthly within set deadlines
- Have a passion for success and results
- Positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work with minimum supervision & use initiative
- Accurate and have an eye for detail
- Good team working skills
- Strong MS Excel skills - including regular use of formulas
