More About the Role
We’re looking for an Optimisation Lead to help us build the best Optimisation team in Europe.
As Optimisation Lead you’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary UX team, focused on shaping the customer experience of AO.com through thoughtful testing & analysis.
You’ll work across multiple product teams to identify test opportunities and outline customer-centric hypotheses. You’ll brainstorm and prioritise test ideas, before partnering with development to build and launch tests to millions of monthly visitors.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
You’ll analyse test results, collaborating with our analytics and commercial teams to understand the big-picture and far-reaching impact of your work.
As the face of optimisation you’ll regularly report the results of your experiments and engage with stakeholders at all levels, communicating key learnings, insights and next steps.
As the team lead, you’ll dedicate a portion of your time to managing an Optimisation Executive, helping with their growth and development as well as day-to-day management.
Teams will make you their first port of call to help validate big ideas and you’ll be well networked, having built strong relationships with our Product, Customer Insights, Commercial, Analytics, Operations and Development teams.
A Few Things About You
You’ll have a proven track-record of fast paced CRO experimentation & driving growth while enhancing user experience.
You’ll be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and focus.
You’ll be able to teach best practices, strategies and tactics.
You’ll be highly analytical, very comfortable working with (and talking about) numbers and analysis.
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a confident communicator, able to tailor your comms to effectively address different audiences.
