Job Overview

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Analyst to join AO Business. You will be working within our B2B commercial team supporting various areas of the business with data analysis, reporting and planning.

This is a great opportunity to collaborate with teams across the business, collecting market knowledge and data insights to help drive sound commercial decisions.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

As a Junior Analyst, you will be a key contributor of commercial insight for our weekly and monthly reports. These reports are used by the leadership team to inform decision making, highlight areas of success and flag those needing improvement.

You will use your excel skills and reporting capabilities to keep the leadership team informed of performance on a daily and weekly basis. This will help to make sure that any actions to improve business performance are taken as quickly as possible by the relevant teams.

You will support the commercial team in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. By generating insights from historical data, you will help inform our forward-looking processes and ensure that we are setting the right targets for our business areas.

Throughout the year, you will be looking for any differences between our budget and actual performance and using your skills and commercial knowledge to bridge those gaps. This will not only help us better understand our performance but also drive future success.

A Few Things About You

• Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, sum/countifs etc)
• Enjoys using data to drive decision making
• Great attention to detail
• Curious about the business model and the markets we operate in
