Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
In this role, you'll leverage your proven experience as a Infrastructure Network Engineer to take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure within a professional context. Your expertise in Cisco Catalyst, Extreme Wireless solutions, and Fortinet firewalls will be crucial in ensuring the network's effectiveness.
If you come with experience in SDWAN solutions, that's a definite advantage we're seeking. Your proficiency in AWS networking services, including mastering VPC, subnetting, security groups, VPN, and Direct Connect, will be instrumental in integrating our systems.
You'll dive deep into the nuances of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, VLANs, and subnetting to ensure seamless operations. Your familiarity with network security practices and firewall management will be an asset as you contribute to maintaining a secure network environment.
When challenges arise, your adept troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will shine, enabling you to dissect complex network issues and offer effective solutions. Your role will be pivotal in our continuous efforts to optimize and streamline our network infrastructure.
A Few Things About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, AWS Certified) will be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst, Extreme Wireless solutions, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience with SDWAN solutions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AWS networking services such as VPC, subnetting, security groups, VPN, and Direct connect.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience in network security practices and firewall management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex network issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of online retail operations and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
