About The Role
Simply put, you’ll help us to advance our technology in line with our really ambitious growth plans, enabling us to scale quickly whilst at the same time enabling us to adapt to changes we may not have expected.
As part of our newly formed Enterprise Platforms & ERP function, you’ll work closely with Jasmin our Director of EA & ERP to build out that function.
We have the ambitious mission of transforming our Business Platforms. Big growth plans are in place to get the organisation fit for purpose for future growth.
Enterprise Architecture is a key role in leveraging the new wider Tech capability and ensuring that the business is able to get the best from it.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You’ll be working alongside business and technical business stakeholders to match their requirements and solutions in a way which supports strategic objectives.
You’ll work as part of an enabling practice which is able to provide guide-rail governance to teams working to provide the best possible digital retail experiences, making it safe for them to innovate.
Explaining constraints and dependencies you’ll explore options with business stakeholders to make it safe for them to drive highly competitive roadmaps.
As you’d expect there’s a fair few responsibilities that come with this role, it’s going to be critical for us in achieving our growth plans, here’s some of them:
- Mentoring and build a fit for purpose architecture team
- Responsible for managing the architecture and design authority function
- Oversee adherence to the architecture strategy, principles and framework
- Supporting the Director of Enterprise Platforms in the wider ERP initiatives
- Participate, and drive participation from stakeholders in architectural forums.
- Populate and maintain the enterprise architecture system of record.
- Assist the EA team with internal and external communication, improving engagement and understanding of what we do.
- Stakeholder management, ensuring that we are able to provide the right level of support.
- Assist business stakeholders with dependency management, using EA tools.
- Assist business stakeholders with road mapping and contribute to strategic information where required.
A Few Things About You
You’re an experienced Enterprise Architect having honed your craft at several companies and the scars on your back that come with it!
Passionate about technology, you’re equally passionate about making it work for people and helping them to understand the ways that technology affects the choices which can be made as solutions evolve.
You’re able to draw from a range of architecture frameworks and methodologies and not adopt a "one size fits all" approach.
Experienced in supporting a multi-region, multi-tenant, omni-channel enterprise as an enterprise architect, you’ll have some exposure to ERP in retail even if that’s just light touch.
An excellent facilitator, you’re able to educate technical and business stakeholders in how to get the best benefit from the EA practice, and inform their decision making.
A Bit About Us
