More About the Role

Working for one of the fastest growing PLC’s in the country, you will be responsible for supporting site development and construction works at all sites.
You will assist the company with its expansion plans by opening new sites and assisting with bringing existing sites up to standard where the operation requires.
This is a very autonomous role and you will have a wide remit across the AO estate.
The right individual will be a seasoned Property coordinator/developer, with experience of working in fast paced environments. Please note the job will require travel. Whilst the job is predominately focused on managing works on site, you will also be expected to pro-actively assess a sites compliance with all statutory regulations and its general condition and recommend areas of improvement.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

  • Work with solicitors to complete the legal element of leases and associated documents.
  • Prepare tenders in line with modern tender methods
  • Create schedules of work as required
  • Conduct tender analysis
  • Instruct contractors in line with JCT contracts
  • Administrate JCT contracts
  • Prepare health and safety folder for the construction phase
  • Manage and monitor health and safety during the construction phase
  • Seek approvals as required (building/planning etc)
  • Work with designers as required (structural engineers/QS/Building Surveyors/Architects)
  • Supporting the construction phase to ensure compliance with BS and building regulations
  • Work with PM to produce effective cost management and programs
  • Work with stakeholders to improve the operation as required
  • Deal with dilapidation claims as required
  • General administration duties to support the Manager
  • Set up and maintain electronic filing systems for records and correspondence

  • Superb Stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Working understanding of modern tender practises
  • Working understanding of contracts/contractors
  • Experience of CDM
  • Experience of working with building regulations, planning law and health and safety legislation
