About The Role
As the Employee Relations Manager you will lead the employee relations team, embedding a culture of coaching managers to live by our values when making employee relations decisions. You will head up a team of ER advisors, supported by 2 senior ER Advisors.
You will provide an exceptional customer experience and work with business units to find the right solutions. You will lead the ER team to provide a service that is commercially focused, practical, and legally compliant whilst being humanistic with a coaching approach to making decisions.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
Where case levels are high, you will look to understand root causes and implement changes to drive performance, enabling line managers to better manage situations that arise. We are looking to develop a culture within the team and wider business to promote informal resolutions, education, and good management practices. You will be an important part in driving this agenda across the business.
A Few Things About You
You will have previous experience of managing a commercially-minded ER team and a proven track record of developing a team. This will include managing relationships across senior stakeholders and our trade union relationship. You will also have a demonstrable track record of initiating change, improving credibility, and not settling for the status quo.
