About The Role
Happy customers are always a priority at AO. We exist to make customers’ lives easier, by helping them brilliantly. That’s why we’re reviewing all our email activity to make sure we give our customers the ultimate AO experience. And we’re looking for a confident Junior Email Designer to help us do it.
You’ll work closely with a Senior Designer and copywriters to put together customer-facing email designs in line with our fun, energetic personality. We’re looking for someone with a great eye for detail and a real love for everything from conception to composition.
Based at our Manchester creative hub, you’ll be joining a Creative Studio Team made up of talented designers, Artworkers, copywriters, and motion designers. As you’d probably expect, you’ll need to be comfortable with deadlines to help us keep our send dates on track. We’re after a great communicator who can make sure we get the best out of every project and keep stakeholders in the loop from start to finish.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You'll be designing email marketing campaigns that drive new content using responsive design techniques, as well as using reporting data and insight to inform future design decisions.
You'll be working with our AO brand guidelines to create emails that make the most of our personality-packed visual identity and use existing XD templates to create great layouts & visual compositions.
You may sometimes be required, to work closely with copywriters, developers, and stakeholders to understand project objectives and develop creative concepts.
