More About the Role

You will report directly into the Driver Contracts Manager and work with the other Driver Quality Officers and other members of the quality team. On a daily basis you will communicate with team members, outbases, drivers, new applicants and other internal AO departments. Occasionally you will communicate with external bodies and other departments within the AO group.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

You will work confidently as part of the quality team to ensure that the development of projects and day to day processes develop in line with our company values. You will do this by;

Making telephone screening calls to potential drivers about the driver opportunities we have * Daily you will need to confidently objection handle and sell the opportunities on offer by making telephone screening calls to potential drivers

Liaising with internal and external customers in order to ensure open days/assessments and training run to schedule

Management of own workload including prioritizing

Administration of recruitment process - strong excel skills for logging and analyzing data

Interview and build rapport with driver applicants as well as colleagues of all levels

Provide feedback to driver applicants / depots and other internal parties throughout the process

Input, track, monitor, analyse and report driver recruitment tasks and performance on a weekly basis using excel.

WHAT WILL I BE EXPECTED TO DELIVER?

Identify quality applicants for the driving opportunities on offer via different sources and methods

Recruitment deadlines and numbers in line with the plan communicated from the Driver Contracts Manager

Sell the driver opportunity and objection handle in order to covert to open days

Research and negotiate advertising options or any areas linked with driver recruitment needs/services

Confidently conduct and report all areas of driver recruitment (interviews, open days, assessments, start dates, multi crews)

Create manage and amend when necessary all forms of communication from the driver recruitment team

Produce weekly reports

Presentations as and when required

Ability to work to strict deadlines and timescales

Flexibility and adaptability is essential in order to achieve deadlines

You will be part of the quality team and will be assisting with the smooth running of the recruitment process. You will be a strong person who will integrate well into the quality team and pursue the search for colleagues whose personality traits mirror our values. You will have the ability to insert a fun attitude onto your daily routines and be bold enough to suggest improvements to processes as you see opportunities arise. While working under pressure to meet deadlines you will do this with a smile on your face and project excellent morale to other colleagues and proposed colleagues. An overall focussed, passionate and genuinely caring person you will be an ambassador for the group and make an excellent addition to our AO family.

You will ideally come from a Recruitment/Sales background with a strong team mentality and target driven, you will be confident working alone, have the ability to manage deadlines and budgets proficiently.

Previous experience of making high volume calls daily

Must be confident on Excel & Word - inputting, managing, interpreting/analysing data and creating graphs

Objection handling and converting tel calls to next stage

Experience of successfully working to daily targets and achieving them

Generate new ideas/more efficient processes taking projects from conception to completion

Experience of analyzing and summarizing reports is desirable not essential

Previously collaborated with teams and individuals to share ideas and information
