About The Role
We’re embarking on an exciting journey at AO, transforming the business as we look to our next phase of growth, and future-proof the business with the latest D365 technology.
To help us achieve our goal of being the Global Destination for Electricals', we’re looking for a D365 Technical Consultant who will sit within out Enterprise and ERP division.
You’ll combine a people, processes, and technology-based approach in order to address key business challenges for our D365 global system.
You’ll aim to improve business controls, complexity reduction and operational excellence, whilst being mindful of quality and efficiency to keep pace with AO change.
As we begin on our journey through digital transformation across the organisation, the D365 Technical Environment Consultant you’ll work with a diverse group of stakeholders to enhance our internal resources, in order to continuously improve operational performance, whilst working with the latest D365 technologies
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
No two days will ever be the same. We work at an AO pace. We’re a fast-moving and agile business, undergoing one of the biggest periods of transformation in our 20-year history.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for overseeing the technical environment design, working with our in-house team and alongside our preferred partner.
You’ll be optimising and maintaining D365 Life cycle services and performance, maintaining the Release Management environment, ensuring both audit and security is compliant both internal and external uses.
You’ll be working with a diverse group of stakeholders, communicating issues and managing relationships in a collaborative and team centred environment.
A Few Things About You
You love to solve problems!
You do things methodically, ensuring no stone is left unturned, in delivering in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You’ll be familiar with D365 or, will be looking to upskill your previous Dynamics AX experience.
You’ll have gained experience in a cross-cultural and fast paced environment
You’ll have previous experience on ERP implementations, and you will be able to balance an Agile and Waterfall approach
You'll be Comfortable in working with an eclectic mix of people both tech and non-tech, and capable of influencing & leading change.
You can take theoretical concepts, or complex ideas and present them to a wider community.
