About The Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of customer accounts in all things credit management. You’ll have a continuous drive to reduce overdue balances and ensure all customers trade within their agreed credit limits. You’ll need to apply a high level of due diligence in the onboarding of new customers. You’ll provide management with regular status updates and ensure queries are escalated and resolved within agreed SLA’s.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • You’ll manage client debt balances and the chasing of outstanding accounts to ensure we reduce overdue balances.
  • You’ll continually review customers' credit limits to make sure it aligns with their situation.
  • It is important that you pay close attention to the detail when onboarding new customers, this will prevent future mistakes.
  • You’ll have a need to produce management information on credit status and aged debtors.
  • It is crucial that you liaise with internal and external bodies to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
  • You’ll be responsible for issuing monthly customer statements, account and statement reconciliations, and general administration.

A Few Things About You

  • You’ll have previously worked in a busy sales ledger environment
  • You’ll have used financial accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics (AX)
  • As the role deals with a large volume of data, strong Excel skills are certainly needed.
  • You’ll be able to prioritise workload and be willing to learn and proactively seek resolutions
  • It’s important that you’re a good team player as well as have the ability to work independently
  • You’ll need to be well organised and be able to work to deadlines displaying speed and a strong eye for detail.
