More About the Role
Working for one of the fastest growing PLC’s in the country, you will be responsible for overseeing site development and construction works at all sites based in the south.
You will assist the company with its expansion plans by opening new sites and assisting with bringing existing sites upto standard where the operation requires.
This is a very autonomous role and you will have a wide remit across the AO estate.The right individual will be a seasoned Contracts Manager, with experience of working in fast paced environments. Please note the job is field based and will required travel at least 3 days a week. Whilst the job is predominately focused on managing works on site, you will also be expected to pro-actively assess a sites compliance with all statutory regulations and its general condition and recommend areas of improvement.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
Oversee all construction and site maintenance activities across the southern estate (12 sites)Be responsible for the design, procurement and delivery of all construction worksAssist facilities function with auditing PPM activities across the estateEffectively manage the site safety during worksWork with stakeholders to identify ways the operation can be improved through better processes Oversee the implementation of new sites as and when they are requiredTo ensure each contract is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required standard of quality.
A Few Things About You
- 3+ years’ experience in similar role
- Working understanding of CDM regulations
- Experience with CAD
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Good understanding of building regulations
