About The Role

Our UK Logistics business is growing! We're on the look-out for a super inquisitive Commercial Analyst to focus on our commercial finance performance within our Operation.

You'll assist with developing the commercial P&L, driving forward the performance of our logistics business through insightful investigation, analysis, and the implementation of accurate forecast models.

Collaboration is key! Through building great relationships within your team, Finance, and the wider Commercial team, you'll positively impact AO's performance and strategy.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Assist with the production, development and distribution of the UK Logistics P&L, key metrics, and commentary. Working closely with the wider commercial team to understand key cost drivers and profitability.
  • Help to drive improvement throughout the P&L, challenging key metrics and identifying areas of opportunity.
  • Assist with the production of forecasting models to demonstrate our current performance and expected future costs/savings.
  • Help to identify cost savings and efficiencies by working closely with the operation where appropriate to do so and subsequently making recommendations to drive change.
  • Support and guide the business to evaluate of all relevant cost metrics.

A Few Things About You

  • We’re looking for someone who has previous analyst-based experience within a commercial or accounting department and finds numbers exciting
  • You'll have worked with Excel at an intermediate level to pull together financial reportin
  • Excellent communication skills are a must as you’ll need to build relationships across the business.
  • We like to work with a smile and enjoy what we do and a positive "can do" attitude is essential
