About The Role

AO invest millions of pounds every year in our advertising and we’re looking for a superstar Marketing Analyst to be responsible for reporting and insights across our marketing campaigns. You’ll be using first and third party data to report on performance, but more importantly you’ll be drawing learnings from this data and making recommendations on how we could improve our marketing in future campaigns.

We’re looking for someone who is extremely confident using a variety of forms of marketing data and analytical techniques, with the knowledge and expertise to interpret data whilst working in a fast-paced environment. The role blends the science of data analysis with the art of storytelling to ensure our insights are actionable.

You’ll be empowered to continually look for better ways of doing things, from building new dashboards to introducing tech that can add value. You will help us ensure our marketing budget is spent efficiently across our campaigns whilst ensuring reporting and analysis is completed to a high standard for both internal and external stakeholders.

· Consolidating first and third-party data into campaign reports with actions and recommendations.

· Measuring the effectiveness and ROI of online and offline marketing activity across campaigns.

· Working with the wider marketing teams to understand trends and continually finding ways to improve performance to maximise ROI.

· Translating data into actionable insights - working seamlessly across our marketing and commercial teams, you will help ensure that insights are translated into actions, presented in an easy to understand format and show a clear estimated value that can be measured once the actions are delivered.

· Supporting other marketing teams to ensure reporting delivery is efficient, timely and accurate.

A Few Things About You

• A proven track record of interrogating data and identifying trends that can shape strategic decisions.

• A good understanding of digital and offline marketing channels.
