More About the Role

It’s about joining a passionate and progressive IT department who love what we do. Working closely with all aspects of the development team.

You will be helping us make progress in establishing a high tech high touch omni-channel customer experience. To help design and build systems where you can leverage your deep .Net technical knowledge and architectural taste to build great software products.

Apart from the work, you’ll be part of a team that values delivering working software and business value as often as possible, embracing engineering techniques such as TDD/BDD and continuous delivery as well as following the lean/agile mind-sets towards maximising value and continually improving. The team works closely with their customers to understand their problems and come up with innovative solutions leveraging latest technologies available.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

After a thorough on-boarding period where you’ll learn all about our business and the technologies we use in our systems, you’ll be immersed within the development team to help the deliver working software that meets the needs of our customers. You’ll be involved in proposing innovative solutions to problems that can span across an ecosystem of customer touch points. Compounding the effect we have in key business goals.

A Few Things About You

You need to be an extremely competent C# .Net/ASP.Net software developer, knowledgeable about multiple .Net Frameworks and intimately familiar with tools such as Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio Code. An understanding of cloud technologies such as those offered in AWS/GCP/Azure.

You will be practiced in Object Oriented design and implementation and demonstrably experienced in safely working with legacy code.

The ideal candidate will be fluent with the test-driven development approach to software although strong developers without this fluency will be considered.

Knowledge and experience of continuous integration/deployment and infrastructure as code (terraform) is also desirable.
