More About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development & Account Manager to join AO to play a key role in expanding our Digital Services business.
Reporting into the Marketing & Ecommerce Director this role is all about generating and onboarding new Digital Service business customers. The main responsibilities will be nurturing and developing new business opportunities, onboarding new customers and managing accounts once onboarded. The right candidate will have a strong Digital Services sales background ideally gained in an agency environment.
Alongside supporting AO.com, AO International and the AO Group, AO Digital Services support a number of existing 3rd party retail e-commerce customers throughout the UK and Internationally.
Our aim is to grow the number of 3rd party businesses we support. Our target customers are ideally large UK and International retailers that have reached the point where they recognise that it’s more efficient to outsource all or elements of their Digital Service requirements to a specialist partner.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
Strategically grow and develop our external partnerships for AO's Digital Services Department
Optimise accounts to increase visibility, sales and profitability
Identify and deliver strategies according to analytics, trends, demand and competition
Develop and maintain relationships with key external contacts to drive a shared development and growth plan
Work internally with teams to drive Digital projects and performance
A Few Things About You
- Will be experienced in board level Digital Service and Solutions selling and account management
- Has worked in a digital environment previously, ideally at an agency previously
- Will be experienced working within the e-commerce and digital marketing solutions space
- Will have an excellent standard of communication and customer service
- Will be happy working self-sufficiently
- Is happy going out to clients and presenting our services to secure new business
