About The Role

You’ll be joining the AO Payments team who are on a mission to create a fast, frictionless and flexible payment experience for all of AO’s customers. Sound exciting? Then this might be the role for you. We need an experienced BA to join the team who will help drive the team towards its destination.

Working collaboratively with our passionate in-house product development teams, you will support them in understanding business requirements and their associated benefits. You will play a key role in planning, implementing and delivering value in a challenging and fast paced environment.

You will be part of our Business Analyst community that will help to guide and support you in your progression.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Deliver clear, concise and accurate user stories and acceptance criteria detailing customer or user interactions.

Gather and understand business requirements using appropriate techniques such as workshops, 1-2-1’s, stakeholder interviews, etc.

You’ll be an integral part of the product team helping to translate technical information into business language and ensuring we build the right thing.

Create appropriate documentation such as process flows and wireframes / sketches to aid conversations within your product development team and stakeholders.

Work closely with stakeholders in understanding relative priority of requirements and where appropriate, propose phasing options to help the business achieve value sooner.

As a key member of the team, you’ll make sure team processes are on point with facilitation of; sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, 3-amigos etc.

Play a key role in the direction of the team and contribute to your product development teams Quarterly Product Review presentation by helping craft objectives and key results (OKRs).

Join and collaborate within our Business Analyst community which will not only support you individually on a professional level, but on a personal level as well.

A Few Things About You

You have experience in working in an Agile environment

Are prepared to get into the detail as well as challenge effectively.

You’ll have a keen eye for problem solving and like to visualise requirements to take your stakeholders on the journey.

As you’ll be working in the payments area of AO, you will need to be commercially aware and have experience of working with 3rd parties.
