• Manage inbound shipments via the Goods In Dashboard, processing items from JIT, KLS, 3rd Party, and Bulk suppliers, while escalating any discrepancies to Customer Service, Finance, and Returns.

• Conduct inventory investigations using the Warehouse Management System (GEAC) to resolve physical/system stock discrepancies including negative balances, order errors, and missing or excess stock, among other inventory-related anomalies that may arise.

• Generate and manage inventory reports, ensuring they are completed on schedule, prioritised effectively during busy periods, and maintained to a high standard of accuracy.

• Handle 3rd Party product-specific processes, including inbound management, investigations, and reporting, according to internal protocols.

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Sales Service Operative to support our fast-paced recycling and refurbished white goods operation. We're building something new.

As AO expands into residential solar installations, we're looking for experienced Scaffolders to help us deliver safe access solutions for customers across the UK.
This isn't large commercial projects or long-term site work. You'll be working on domestic properties, erecting and dismantling scaffolds that allow our Solar Installation Teams to safely install rooftop solar systems.
We're looking for scaffolders who take pride in their work, work safely, and understand the importance of representing a trusted brand in customers' homes.

A Typical Day

You'll start from your local depot, collect your materials and head out with your mate to residential customer properties. You'll install the required scaffold, liaise with the Solar Team, ensure everything is safe and compliant, and move on to the next job. Once installation work is complete, you'll return to dismantle and clear the scaffold.No two days are the same, but every day you'll play a key part in helping customers switch to renewable energy

You will be focussed on providing excellent customer service by answering all customer calls and provide a positive outcome on all queries making decisions your mum would be proud of, along with day-to-day queries and solving each problem with a smile. At AO Recycling, we are committed to extracting as much value as possible from the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) that is thrown away by UK households every year. We are growing rapidly and so with that, opportunities to develop and try new approaches become aplenty. Our fridge recycling plant is one the most efficient and advanced in the UK and It sets a new standard in recovering metals, plastics, and gases. We use cross flow shredders to dismantle fridges, whilst safely extracting and treating the flammable gasses and CFCs through our cryo-condap solvent recovery plant. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are recovered as well as plastics, and polyurethane foam. The whole process is fully automated and done using a series of screens, magnetic separators, and air classifiers. The plant produces high quality recycled products and complies with the highest European environmental standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant Fitter that predominately carries out repairs and maintenance to our fleet of 36 forklift trucks in Telford. This role also provides welding and fabrication services, and general maintenance to an array of waste recycling machines.

The successful candidate will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on days and nights.

• Carry out repair and maintenance on mobile plant and site infrastructure, as planned or directed by site management, including mechanical engineering, fabrication, and welding tasks
• Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, making sure tools, parts and materials are available, minimising production downtime, upholding the highest safety standards, and maintaining tidy work areas through a ‘clean as you go’ approach at all times
• Ensure the equipment used to undertake welding, fabrication or other service work is in good working order and serviced as required. Must have a solid understanding of all hot work activities and welding accessories
• Ensure that all plant and equipment on site is modified and improved, as necessary, to maximise equipment availability and performance whilst still achieving output levels required to meet production demands.
• Complete dynamic risk assessments where necessary to ensure that safe working practices are upheld, and risk reduced
• Be aware of stock control and maintain shift paperwork to the highest standard, to complete condition reports and other documentation as defined by the maintenance strategy
• Assess malfunctioning equipment and provide advice to the site management team to support and influence decision‑making
• Carry out engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments to ensure high quality, reliable operational performance
• Update and administer the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while completing Planned Maintenance inspections in line with the site maintenance plan, ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively.
• Contribute to problem solving workshops, providing engineering expertise to identify root causes of failures and subsequent improvement actions
• Attend daily operational review meetings, providing updates on Planned Maintenance compliance, live defects, and ongoing improvement plans
• Complete dynamic risk assessments and adopt a ‘clean-as-you-go’ approach to keep our plant super safe

A Few Things About You

• Experienced and qualified engineer with mobile plant repairs, welding, fabrication, mechanical bias.
• Ability to provide solutions to real time problems from concept, build to installation.
• High attention to detail with high standards of work.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• First line manager for a team of 6-7 people within an automated production line.
• Leading the team by ensuring equipment and materials are available and operational capacity and throughput are maximised.
• Responsible for managing and appraising team performance, developing team ethic underpinned by mutual trust, dignity and respect. Key role in ensuring skills training is completed, mentoring and development of your team members, along with managing absenteeism and first line disciplinaries.
• Ensuring adherence to all company policies and processes. Drive continuous improvement, emphasising safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and morale.
• Manage staff and storage of stock and all areas are organised, tidy, compliant and safe. The site should always be VIP / audit ready, and you will drive the culture and pride in the site.
• Lead Daily Shift briefings, using and completing reports, monitoring safety, whilst ensuring all KPI’s are met. Able to identify areas of improvement, or challenges which require support or project teams to overcome.
• Updating the production data into dedicated data capture/analysis software.
• Contributing to problem solving workshops, providing operational expertise to identify root causes of failures and subsequent improvement activity.
• Attending daily operational review meetings, providing updates on operational performance, live defects, and ongoing improvement work.
• Lead, perform, and/or participate in 5S housekeeping, accident investigation, and safety audits and related activities.

A Few Things About You

• Experience in supervising teams (min. 2 years for Supervisor, min. 3 years for Shift Co-Ordinator), ideally in an operational setting.
• ILM management (L2 - Supervisor, L3 - Shift Co-Ordinator) or equivalent qualification, with a desire to advance with AO supported qualifications.
• Likes high contact time with team, and works alongside the team when required (FLT training will be given if required)
• Experience working within a processing, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to think logically and decisively to effectively provide solutions.
• Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team.

As AO’s new Maintenance Technician, you will play a massive part in keeping our plant one of the most efficient and advanced in the UK. That means overseeing work to the plant, delivering planned maintenance schedules, and getting stuck in with improvement projects to drive the plant’s reliability and keep costs down.

In this exciting role, your responsibilities will include:

• Turn data into insights, helping our commercial and operational teams understand performance and drive improvement across the business.
• Deliver accurate reporting and analysis that supports decision-making; Create and develop KPI reporting.
• Maintain and enhance consolidation templates used for AO Group Finance reporting; Support with month-end processes and performance reviews.

As AO’s new Maintenance Technician, you will play a massive part in keeping our plant one of the most efficient and advanced in the UK. The D365 Solution Architect plays a key role in shaping how we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 across Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, WMS and Azure. They’re responsible for the end‑to‑end design of our solutions, making sure everything hangs together — from functionality and integrations through to data, security and long‑term supportability.

This role keeps us aligned with Microsoft’s roadmap, sets clear architectural standards and cuts out unnecessary complexity. The focus is on building solutions that are scalable, reliable and ready for One Version — not just today, but for the long term.

Working closely with Functional and Technical Consultants, Integration Engineers, Test Leads, Enterprise Architects and our business teams, the Solution Architect helps create a D365 platform that’s secure, cost‑effective and built to support the way AO operates.

As D365 Solution Architect, you own the end‑to‑end architecture across Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, WMS and Azure. You set the direction, define clear design standards and make sure solutions are simple, scalable and aligned to Microsoft’s roadmap — with minimal customisation and full One Version readiness.

You govern configuration, extensions, integrations and ISVs, balancing the right use of D365, Power Platform and third‑party tools while keeping technical debt under control. You ensure integrations are robust, data flows are reliable and the platform can handle high‑volume, business‑critical workloads.

You provide architectural oversight across environments, releases, data migration and cutover, making sure the platform is resilient, secure and operationally ready. Working closely with delivery teams, enterprise architecture, Microsoft and vendors, you guide decisions, challenge complexity and help build a D365 platform that’s cost‑effective, secure and built to support how AO runs — especially at peak.

We're looking for a Senior Test Engineer to help drive quality across one of the biggest transformations we've ever delivered. You'll play a key role in our D365 journey, getting hands-on across functional, integration, API, automation and UAT testing to make sure what we build works exactly as it should.

This isn't a role where you'll sit on the sidelines. You'll be working closely with engineers, implementation partners and business teams, understanding how things really work, spotting risks early, and helping us release with confidence. As one of our testing leads, you'll take ownership of end-to-end test activities, champion quality throughout the delivery lifecycle, and look for ways to continually improve how we test.

Automation will be a big part of your role, where you’ll build and maintain Playwright (JavaScript) tests for key user flows and develop reliable API checks using Postman and Newman to catch issues early. You’ll help keep environments ready for testing, troubleshoot when things go wrong (whether it’s data, config, or integrations), and work across APIs, middleware, and events to pinpoint problems quickly.

Alongside this, you’ll support performance testing, help improve test data management, and collaborate closely with BAs and engineers to bring testing earlier into the process, making releases smoother and more predictable.
